Q: Who is actually providing my insurance coverage?
A: Kilpatrick Insurance is an independent insurance agency which means we work with a large number of insurance companies to provide you coverage. When we find the best fit for you, the actual insurance coverage is provided by the insurance company issuing the policy not by Kilpatrick Insurance directly.
Q: How long will it take to get a quote?
A: Personal lines quotes (Home/Auto/Renters) will be provided same day. A commercial quote will generally take 2-5 days depending on the complexity of the policy.
Q: Why do I have to provide my social security number to get a Homeowners’, Auto, or Renter’s quote?
A: Much of your rate on these personal lines of insurance is based off of your credit score. The better your credit score, the lower your rates. So to determine your credit score, we need to provide the insurance companies with your social security number.
Q: Are your quote forms secure?
A: Yes, our forms are secure, and we take your security and privacy very seriously. Our forms have the latest 256-bit encryption for your protection.
Q: Who owns Kilpatrick Insurance?
A: Kilpatrick Insurance is privately owned locally by the Kilpatrick family.
Q: Who should I call with a question about my policy?
A: We work in teams so you can call your Kilpatrick agent or the Customer Service Rep that he/she works with on your account.
